Lead alloy weight probably a spindle whorl Medieval to Post-medieval dating 1200 - 1600AD. The object is circular in plan and slightly conical. In the centre of the object the perforation has an internal diameter of 9mm. It appears to be undecorated. The object has a light grey patina. The diameter is 18mm and the weight 24.63g. Spindle whorls have reportedly been found in contexts dated from the Roman through to the Post-Medieval period although the majority are typically dated broadly to the medieval period c.1100-1500.

A lead plano-convex object, either a weight or a gaming token. Such objects are incredibly difficult to date outside of a dated archaeological context and it may date from any period from Roman onwards but is probably medieval. It is sub-circular in plan with a pronounced pellet on top.The diameter is 11mm and the weight 2.90g.

Complete medieval copper-alloy composite strap end with forked spacer (c. 1200 - 1500 AD). The strap end is a composite design formed of a copper-alloy forked spacer between two copper-alloy sheets. The forked spacer is shorter than the two copper-alloy plates and is possibly broken, although it is difficult to tell this for sure. The strap end is 'tongue-shaped' with a pointed end that finishes in a flat oval knop, and a straight attachment end. At the attachment end is a single copper-alloy rivet that now only pierces the upper plate as the elements have become separated at this end…

Copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill type. Rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings would have held the pin axis bar, the spring and pin are missing. The wings are decorated with two recessed vertical at their ends. There is a loop at the top of the head that holds the external cord of the spring, this then extends down the front of the head forming a short crest, flanking the head are expanded shoulders. The bow is truncated at its mid-section resulting in the loss of the catch plate.

A copper-alloy bead of uncertain date, although possibly dating from Bronze Age to Roman date (c. 2400 BC-c. AD 410). The bead is circular in plan and has a central sub-circular perforation. The outer surface of the bead is irregular due to corrosion. It measures 15mm in diameter and 8mm in thickness. Similar beads are recorded on the PAS database with a variety of date ranges suggested, cf. LEIC-3641F5, SOM-DA2D9C, IOW-04D9D1.The patina of this object might suggest a Bronze Age date, however other comparisons date to the Roman and Iron Age period.
