A flint microburin dating from the Mesolithic Period, about 10,000 BC - 4000 BC. It is formed on a light grey flint tertiary blade which is a little water worn and patinated. It is oval in plan and oval in cross-section. It has a snapped oblique distal end, with some retouch to create the notch on the right side at the distal end. It is 10.4mm long, 6.1mm wide and 1.7mm thick. 0.14g. A microburin is the waste produce from notching and then snapping a blade to create a microlith.

It is sub-triangular in plan with a tapering proximal end. It has a snapped oblique distal end, with some removals to create the notch at the left side of the distal end.
