A silver Medieval coin; a short cross penny of Henry II (AD 1154 - 1189), Class 1b (AD 1180 - 1185), struck by Osber at London. See North number 963 on page 220 of Volume 1 (1994). The coin has some pitting, bubbles and blobs on the surface, and seems a little unclear, possibly suggesting it is a modern imitation. It is 19.9mm diameter, 0.7mm thick and 1.24g.
