A piece of what appears to be copper alloy slag. It has a high metal content and is very heavy for slag but seems too irregular for a finished piece. There are small bubbles in the piece and a rounded hollow seems to be the result of a large bubble. There is a loop at one end and a shaped tail at the other.

Rim fragment from a probably late medieval or early post-medieval copper-alloy cooking vessel. The fragment is 48.0mm wide and a maximum of 40.7mm high, and is roughly triangular in profile. There is a teardrop-shaped swelling at the inner face, extending to a maximum thickness of 6.8mm and to a depth of 12.6mm below the bevelled rim. Lead spindle whorl of probable early medieval date. In the form of a flat disc weighing 39.8g, of 24.9mm diameter with a centrally located straight-sided 9.5mm aperture, and a thickness of 10.7mm. The underside is very slightly concave, and the item is completely covered in grey-white patination. The whorl conforms to Walton-Rogers form B, and therefore probably dates to c.900 - 1100AD.

A biface cast copper-alloy token likely of 18th or 19th century date. Description: The token's upper face is decorated with a capital H proceeded by fleur-de-lis all within a raised border cast in relief. Measurements: 27.41mm in diameter, 1.93mm thick and 6.13g in weight. Discussion: Although probably dating from after 1700, this object may relate to the Honeychild Manor which was frequently home to powerful individuals, many of whom were very influential on Romney Marsh. It may, therefore be relevant to the Fifth Continent project on Romney Marsh.

A complete copper-alloy horse harness or belt stud mount dating to the sixteenth or seventeenth century AD. The mount possesses a body which is heart-shaped in plan with a trilobate extension at the apex of the heart. On the underside, there extend two integrally-cast attachment lugs. There is minor surface damage and some corosion to the front of the mount. Otherwise it is in good condition. The stud mount measures 38mm in length, 21mm in width and weighs 5.91g.

A Roman copper alloy Hod Hill brooch dating to AD 43-75. The brooch is incomplete and all that remains is the top section of the bow. At the top the wings are rolled forward with an indentation in the centre where the pin mechanism fitted. Below the wings the bow narrows and continues downwards with slight narrowing.
