An incomplete copper alloy buckle of Medieval date (AD 1250-1400). The object is a single oval framed buckle with integral plate. The frame is plain. The plate is slightly convex on the front and narrows gradually in width away form the loop to a worn, possibly broken squared off end. The plate has a circular perforation c3mm wide for the pin adjacent to the loop which retains part of the wire pin. The pin is c8mm in length and isimily bent 180 degrees though the hole. An incomplete Medieval (1350 - 1450 AD) copper alloy oval, lipped buckle frame of Meols Type 4, missing its pin. The bar is slightly flattened, narrowed and offset. The slightly expanded point (lip) in the cnetre of the outer edge of the frame has a triangular notch for the pin. Its measurements are: length 14.0mm, width 16.2mm and thickness 2.6mm; it weighs 0.84g. Similar buckle frames from London (Egan & Pritchard 1991: 70, nos.279-283) date between AD 1350 and 1450.

The lid of a cast copper-alloy seal box dating to the second or third century AD (Andrews Type L1D1). It is lozengiform in plan and hollow and rectangular in section with small semi-circular lugs at three of the corners. At the apex is the remains of a small, oval pierced lug. There is evidence of a second piercing in this lug but this is worn and damaged. The outer surface of the lid is decorated with 25 lozengiform cells created from reserve metal. A small body sherd from Belamine jug, from the mid 16th-mid 17th century. The outer surface has an iron-rich brown surface which has been salt-glazed, which produces the mottled brown effect. The interior is a reddish pink colour. The fabric is hard fired and light grey in colour. There is a small piece of floral design visible on the sherd. The sherd is 37.75 mm high, 46.72.37mm wide and 8.02 mm in thickness. It weighs 22.4 grams.
