Three rectangular incomplete medieval copper alloy buckle plates. The plates are rectangular, flat and very worn. Some decoration is visible particularly on one which has 4 fern leaf patterns, the others are difficult to decern. patina is verde green. The largest piece has a rivet on the reverse and the smallest has a hole.

A Post Medieval piece of glass. The light green coloured rounded piece of glass appears to be from the rim of a bottle. There appears to be a smaller inner circular glass element of glass that is intact. There is also an outer and slightly thicker layer of glass that surrounds the inner part. Both layers are translucent and appear to be slightly marked with a small diagonal line on one side but unmarked and smooth on the other. Copper alloy single loop buckle and the frame is oval with an offset bar. There is an expanded and thickened outer edge with a horizontally grooved zone between large rounded knops, and with a narrowed and offset strap bar with smaller knops at its ends. A lead alloy post-medieval button possibly dating to the late 16th to 18th century. The button is decorated with a skull and crossbones with small pellets making up the background; the crossbones are situated above the skull. The button appears to have been circular originally but has lost fragments on either side of the skull. Mould line on the back with a short stem and and complete oval loop. A complete but damaged post-medieval lead cloth seal probably dating from the 16th century AD. On one face is perhaps the Tudor royal coat of arms, ie a moulded shield bearing the Fleur de Lys of France and the three lions of England quarterly. The seal was apparently made up of two discs, now crushed together, and with an oval piece held to the surface of one side onto which has been moulded the letter F positioned centrally within a beaded circle Further lettering, perhaps [...] C O M I '. V, appears within an outer border. Any tab or lug, linking the two discs, is now missing.

A fragment of a copper-alloy La Tene I brooch dating to the period 400 to 300 BC. At one end, there extends downwards a small portion of a circular-section stem which would originally have become the integral spring and pin. This extends to the bow which comprises a D-sectioned oval plate, the upper surface of which is decorated with a series of ribs and grooves. At the other end, there extends downwards a small portion of the foot, which coils back on itself and appears to be decorated with three horizontal grooves. An incomplete copper-alloy Early Medieval (Anglo Saxon) buckle with integral plate. It has an oval frame with a sub-circular cross-section. Only a small fragment of the integral plate survives and it is pierced to house the copper-alloy pin, still in situ. The pin has a D-shaped cross-section and after passing through the hole in the plate, it is wrapped around the frame. The pin tip slightly curves downward to rest on the buckle frame.
Cf. West (1998, p. 136, fig. 20, no. 12 and p. 137, fig. 21, no. 5). It dates to the 6th-7th century AD.

A Medieval copper-alloy annular buckle with cast copper-alloy pin, probably dating to c. AD 1200-1450. The frame is circular in plan, and in cross-section, with no constriction for the pin. The frame is undecorated. The pin is cast, with a rounded point and a sub-circular cross section. At the attachment end is a cast, rearward facing hook, bent over to form the attachment. The frame is 34 mm in diameter and the pin is 34mm long. Weight 11mm.
