The fragment consists of the rim shoulder and wall of a large storage jar. Incomplete medieval to post medieval leg from a cooking vessel such as a cauldron, posnet or skillet dating to the period c. AD1300 - 1700. The leg has a worn break at the top and bottom and is D-shaped in cross-section with a central mid-rib running down the front. Traces of sooting are visible. The lid or cap of an unidentified vessel dating to the seventeenth or eighteenth century AD. The lid is circular in plan with a rim which has become crushed. The upper surface of the lid is decorated with an integrally-cast motif of a face in low relief within a grooved circular border. Outside the border, the face is surrounded by radial ribs, perhaps intended to represent the sun's rays. See NMS-9F24B3 for a parallel. The object measures 35mm in diameter and 5mm in thickness.

Lead alloy toy rocket fragment. Cast tail of a solid cast cylindrical or cigar-shaped object with four equidistantly spaced fins at its end. A groove or paired ridges extend longitudinally between fins on opposite sides of the object. This is probably the tail of a toy rocket or aeroplane with a detachable head: a paper percussion cap would fit between the head and the body of the rocket, and would explode when the head made impact. A fragment of cast lead sheet of structural gauge [4.7mm thick] with a knife cut end and upper edge, and with scars from the cutting of coarse teeth with a spacing of c.3 per cm and a basal width of c.3mm, continuing to within 5mm of the edge of the comb. The upper edge was cut as a gentle curve to produce a concave-backed form with expanded ends, presumably originally symetrical. A Post Medieval cast lead alloy watch face from a toy watch dating AD 1700-1750. This is a Forsyth & Egan (2005) Type 8 Design 1: a multi-component watch with a plain case, angular profile and integrally cast pendant loop. The surviving element here is the dial which would have been recessed and supported on an internal flange just below the rim of the case with the rim pushed over the edge of the dial (see LON-98FC10 for a more complete example).
