An incomplete cast copper-alloy composite strap end dating to the Medieval period, c. 1350-1400. Only the lower portion of the internal spacer survives intact, with the side-plates and its upper section apparently missing in old damage. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy Colchester derivative 'initial' T-shaped, Dorset type bow brooch (AD 50-150). The pin is missing and the chain/head loop is largely missing. The tubular wings taper slightly towards their ends. However, the top of the wings are flat. At the rear of the wings a slot to accommodate a pin loop is off-centre. Close to the bow the wings have a diameter of about 4.4mm. Each outer end has a small portion missing and is abraded.
