Object type: COIN HOARD
Broad period: POST MEDIEVAL
County: Norfolk
Workflow stage: Published
Summary: Three coins, two silver groats and a contemporaneous Burgundian double patard, found very close together and very close to two groats discovered within two feet of each other in August 2014. They undoubtedly represent further coins from this dispersed hoard and thus addenda to the August 2014 coins (NMS-3D8F5B Treasure no. 2014T655). The crisp condition of the latest new coin, a profile groat of Henry VII, does not much change the date of loss or deposition suggested for the earlier coins. We may assume a date c.1510-20.
