A cast copper-alloy ring of post medieval date, likely between the 15th and 18th centuries. Possibly a vervel or hawking ring.
Description: The hoop is D-shaped in cross-section, flat externally and curved internally. The pattern consists of four six petal flowers, with a raised line running around the central circumference of the ring. The copper alloy shows through dark brown, and both light green and dark green where the copper has patinated. This example, due to the decoration and style, probably dates to the middle of the date range give, roughly 16th to 17th century.

A nearly complete Roman copper alloy plate brooch, umbonate type, triangular enamelled cells in two rows in blue and red. There is an outer ring of 8 circular lugs of double annulet form with one being open. It has a silvered upper whilst the reverse retains most of the pin and catch.

A Roman copper alloy Penannular brooch segment.
The brooch has only a quater of it's original size. The terminal section is still there with a knopped end and the break edge is 90 degrees from this point.
The whole object may have looked similar to brooch 107 from page 339 of "A Visual Catalogue of Richard Hattatt's Ancient Brooches".

The face of the button is decorated with an incised central circle, radiating out from this are eight incised points, creating a star or sun design. Burnt flint. Two small fragments of flint bearing a thick creamy patina suggesting its prolonged exposure to a calcareous environment, and both crazed overall by heating. The smaller chip may have had flakes struck from its dorsal side; the larger does not appear to have been deliberately worked, though it may have incurred adventitious impacts. Suggested date: Unknown, Neolithic to Early Bronze Age, 4000-1600 BC.

An incomplete Late Iron Age / early Roman one piece copper alloy Colchester brooch dating to the period 1st Century AD. The bow is an inverted drop shape which tapers to a broken edge. An incomplete copper-alloy, late medieval - post medieval 'lyre-shaped' strap end dating c. AD.1350-1450.
Description: The strap-end has chape formed from a hollow one-piece cast 'box' with two rivet holes in the top corners, which retain the traces of iron rivets. The hollow end is sub-rectangular with a flat front and back although it has been slightly warped. The front has been decorated with two black-letter capitals although they are indistinct due to wear and corrosion. An incomplete copper-alloy Early Medieval (Anglo Saxon) fiddle-shaped shield buckle pin. It has the charateristic violin shape in plan consisting of a semi-circular end and waisted central part, followed by a D-shape cross-sectioned bar, which tapers towards the end and curves downward. The front face is flat, but heavily affected by iron corrosion; there is a crack, which cuts through the corrosion layer, possibly penetreting into the copper-alloy front face of the pin. An early modern copper alloy fob seal. Only the casing survives.
The casing has been damaged and bent but remains complete. It consists of a domed section on the bottom, with a six petaled flower design, and a central, upwards fleur-de-lys with a integral suspension loop on the top.

A copper alloy coin weight. The weight is circular, uniface, and was used as a weight for the Ryal or rose noble (a gold denomination). The front face of the weight is stamped with a ship with a rose on the hull (indicating that this is for the Ryal), with the king standing holding a shield. The image is similar to that which appears on the actual coin. Such weights were used to check that coins offered in payment or for exchange were the proper weight.
