Grey flint microlith. A small narrow flake with long narrow parallel bladelets struck from its dorsal side and with a slightly concave ventral surface. Very short abrupt retouch executed from the dorsal aspect defines a hollow in one long edge, while the opposite edge may bear very fine serrations, more easily felt than observed. Creamy patina on struck surfaces suggests the object has endured a period of exposure to a calcareous environment. Suggested date: Late Mesolithic, 7000-4000 BC.

The handle is in the shape of an Isosceles trapezoid, with a the largest side having a small indent on the center and rounded corners. The handle has an attachment on the smallest side, which would have been attached to the main dish.

A complete copper alloy strap distributor of Roman date (AD 43-350).
Description: The object is in one piece broadly cruciform/diamond in shape, and sub-rectangular in cross section. The terminal of each arm is an irregular spherical shape, while the hollow centre is roughly oval in shape. Neither face of the object displays any indication of decorative pattern, and the object is a dark green colour.
Dimensions: Width 27.26mm, thickness 4.99mm and weight 16.37g.
Discussion:Similar examples have been found in Roman sites across Europe, as well as an examples from Oxfordshire…

A complete silver post medieval button cap dating to the 18th century. The button is discoid in shape and slightly domed. The face of the button is decorated with an incised central double triangular pattern, with incised lines running across the corners on the inside, and triangles projecting from the sides on the outside. Dense creamy patina has developed over all struck surfaces, suggesting these objects have endured prolonged exposure to a calcareous environment after their deposition. A complete but worn and abraded flat lead non-heraldic personal seal matrix of Medieval date c.AD 1200-1350.
Description: The matrix is flat and circular in plan and with an incomplete suspension loop at the top of the reverse side formed by a cast lug at the top of a raised ridge. The suspension loop is broken across its width. On the front is an engraved central eight petalled flower. This is surrounded by a legend which starts at twelve o'clock and runs retrograde (anti-clockwise) around the matrix so it would appear the right way round when used. It reads "*S'RICARDI.FIL.h'ER…

Eight small chips of struck flint: five with a bulb on the ventral surface of which at least three also bear scars from the removal of small flakes from their dorsal sides. This has been trimmed along one side of the flake by short abrupt retouch executed from the dorsal aspect. The Neolithic period could accommodate both episodes. The pin is a very simple design with a small part bent over itself to form a loop. The loop has been filled in with dirt, which has solidified. The shape of the pin has been bent into a thin "S" shape with the terminal broken off.
