A medieval (c.1200-1400) copper-alloy gilt annular brooch, complete but with much of the original surface worn away. It carries an inscription on both faces. Gilding is retained in the grooved linear border which flanks both outer and inner edge of the frame on both faces, in the lettering and to the external edge of the frame which has a border of punched annulets. The frame is D-shaped in cross section, being flat to the underside and with a slight curve to the upper face.The inscription is mostly worn away on the upper face. Roman copper alloy bow brooch of Polden Hill type and 1st to 2nd century AD date
The brooch is incomplete, missing the spring and leg (with a surviving length of 26.8mm, a surviving depth of 8.5mm and a weight of 4.5g). The missing spring was accommodated within semi-tubular wings, with the missing axis bar secured at the ends (with a width of 17.3mm and a diameter of 6.4mm). A damaged stub at the head represents the remains of a lug or hook to tension the chord. An incomplete copper-alloy possibly Early Medieval scabbard mount or chape. It is an openwork sub-rectangular plate; it is flat on its back face and on the front face depicts a possible animal or horse and rider in relif. It has a recessed and flat corner piercerd with a sub-circular hole. The upper parts of the animal and possible rider are missing.
Late 11th to 12th century in date.

The cast toggle appears to be complete and has a knop on each side of a slotted panel (with a length of 32.0mm and a weight of 4.0g). The terminal knops are of flattened, sub-spherical form (with a length of 5.2mm and a diameter of 7.4mm). No decoration is now evident on the knops. The central section is flat sectioned (2.5mm thick), with convex sides, one of which is more elongated than the other (producing a maximum width of 13.0mm). An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval buckle plate, dating to AD 1250-1400. It consists of a rectangular openwork plate, broken across the end of two rectangular perforations. Beyond these are two circular perforations, then a narrowed waist before a wider terminal which flares to four lobes, now incomplete with old breaks now worn. The centre of the terminal has a small circular rivet hole.

Fragment of a Roman silver trumpet derived bow and fantail brooch dating to the second century AD. Only the lower part (the fantail) and the catch plate survive.
Raised moulding below the break, acting as the terminus of the fantail, is decorated with two wide deep grooves and two smaller central grooves.

The cast brooch is incomplete, missing the pin and the peripheral side lugs (with a length of 27.5mm, a surviving width of 16.1mm and a weight of 2.8g). The missing pin hinged between twin lugs (giving an overall depth of 9.5mm) on the top of the rear of the brooch. A Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl ( AD. 1100-1500).
The spindle whorl is bi-conical with a series of raised dots on the outer edge of one surface, with a distinct collar around the dots. It is almost worn smooth on the opposite face although a pattern of raised dots can be discerned around the central aperture.
The spindle whorl measures 27.06mm in diameter, 12.24mm in thickness and weighs 38.0g. The perforation measures 8.75mm in diameter.

An early Neolithic flint implement made on a tertiary blade and combining a scraper and a saw. Translucent grey and buff coloured flint. Retouched at both ends (short, scaler, abrupt) to form scrapers. Both mesial edges bear denticulate retouch to form saw teeth (10 teeth/cm). On one side, these appear to have been worn.
