An unidentified copper-alloy object of uncertain date. The piece has an elongated-S-shaped profile, terminating in a wedge-like distal end. The upper end has had its top surface cut away, possibly to create a shallow socket, with toothed top edge. Immediately beneath this 'socket' there is a horizontal perforation.

An incomplete Late Iron Age / early Roman one piece copper alloy Colchester brooch dating to the period 1st Century AD. The bow is an inverted drop shape which tapers to a broken edge. The outer face is decorated with a vertical rib; towards the lower edge are two transverse ribs. The integral spring is missing. See Hattatt (Brooches of Antiquity) no. 732.
