Stone possible whetstone. A small dense compact dark grey pebble of triangular section with rounded ends and sharply defined arises between its flat faces, probably initially formed by wind erosion in a dusty or icy environment. One side, however, is lightly hollowed, probably by wear arising from use as a sharpening stone, and handling may have contributed to the smooth finish of other surfaces. An unidentified copper-alloy object of uncertain date.
The piece has an elongated-S-shaped profile, terminating in a wedge-like distal end. The upper end has had its top surface cut away, possibly to create a shallow socket, with toothed top edge. Immediately beneath this 'socket' there is a horizontal perforation.

A copper alloy brooch pin of unknown date.
The pin is a very simple design with a small part bent over itself to form a loop. The loop has been filled in with dirt, which has solidified. The shape of the pin has been bent into a thin "S" shape with the terminal broken off.

Burnt flint. Two small fragments of flint bearing a thick creamy patina suggesting its prolonged exposure to a calcareous environment, and both crazed overall by heating. The smaller chip may have had flakes struck from its dorsal side; the larger does not appear to have been deliberately worked, though it may have incurred adventitious impacts. Suggested date: Unknown, Neolithic to Early Bronze Age, 4000-1600 BC.
