A complete Medieval to post-Medieval copper-alloy scabbard chape (c.1200-c. 1700).
The main part of the chape is made from a single trapezoidal-shaped piece of sheet copper-alloy rolled to form a tapering tube. The seam abuts and may be soldered.
The chape is open at the wider end but is squashed and misshapen. The open end has a crenulated rim consisting of four semi-circular lobes. Each lobe is pierced with a circular hole for rivets or pins. Each hole is about 1.4mm in diameter. A fragment of a Medieval copper-alloy annular brooch (c. 1200-c. 1400).
This brooch fragment is flat at the front and rear. An inner and outer incised line forms a border on each face. Within the borders on each face there are straight and oblique incised lines forming pseudo inscriptions.
The fragment is corroded and drab green with abraded breaks.
Length: 28.7mm; width: 6.8mm; thickness: 1.8mm. Weight: 2.33g.
When complete, it is estimated that the outer diameter could have been about 40.0mm.

A medieval copper alloy enamelled (and probably originally silvered or gilded) heraldic horse harness pendant, incomplete in so far as it is missing almost all of its enamel decoration. It is shield-shaped and a suspension loop turned through 90 degrees projects from the centre of the straight uppermost edge.
The harness pendant depicts three lions rampant on a background of (now) red enamel. AA copper alloy concretion covers much of the surface and the reverse is worn and missing all of its original patina.

A medieval (c.1200-1400) copper-alloy gilt annular brooch, complete but with much of the original surface worn away. It carries an inscription on both faces. Gilding is retained in the grooved linear border which flanks both outer and inner edge of the frame on both faces, in the lettering and to the external edge of the frame which has a border of punched annulets. An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval buckle plate, dating to AD 1250-1400. It consists of a rectangular openwork plate, broken across the end of two rectangular perforations. Beyond these are two circular perforations, then a narrowed waist before a wider terminal which flares to four lobes, now incomplete with old breaks now worn. The centre of the terminal has a small circular rivet hole.

A Medieval lead alloy spindle whorl ( AD. 1100-1500).
The spindle whorl is bi-conical with a series of raised dots on the outer edge of one surface, with a distinct collar around the dots. It is almost worn smooth on the opposite face although a pattern of raised dots can be discerned around the central aperture.
The spindle whorl measures 27.06mm in diameter, 12.24mm in thickness and weighs 38.0g. The perforation measures 8.75mm in diameter.

Medieval copper alloy buckle of 14th to 16th century date
The buckle has an oval frame with ornate outside edge and a solid, integral plate and is missing the pin (with a slightly distorted length of 46.3mm and a weight of 16.5g). The outside edge is expanded and of sub-circular section with protruding rounded ends (giving a length of 26.3mm, a diameter of 6.6mm - 7.4mm).
