A Late Neolithic to Bronze Age crude flint scraper, probably dating to c. 3000-1600 BC. The tool has been produced from a tertiary flake of partially translucent mottled grey-brown flint. The flake is incomplete, comprising of the distal end only, with the proximal end lost, but with hackles present on the right side of the ventral face. Copper alloy unidentified object fragment. A sub-triangular fragment of a thick [2.4mm] sub-triangular plate with a cylindrical button with a rounded top at its apex and projecting at right angles to its upper side. The lug may have permitted fastening of perforated leather, but the loss of the rest of the object leaves this uncertain. The object bears a fine patina overall, which tends to extend its possible date range. Description: The mount is formed of two sets of opposed trefoil lobes, one set vertically opposed the other horizontally opposed, in the form of petals or leaves. Lead paperweight. Cast weight in the form of a swan afloat. An oval base supports the naturalistically modelled figurine of a swan with folded wings and arched neck, the latter now bent against the body complete with head, eyes and bill. Moulded detail on one side includes the depiction of quills towards the tips of the folded wings. The casting is solid, which would be somewhat uneconomical for a commercially made piece. A retouched flint blade dating to the period 4000-3501 BC. The impliment is lenticular in shape but is missing a point. The flint is covered with retouching. The implement exhibits sub-parallel, low angle retouch on both faces along with some scaled retouch along both mesal edges. On the ventral surface, the bulb of percussion is missing and some concoidal rings are just visible. A Medieval lead alloy uniface sewn token, dating to the early 13th century. Mitchiner & Skinner (1983:68/Pl.1 no.2-14) illustrate similar tokens. The token is ampulliform with two elongated perforations with which the token could be attached or sewn onto a garment.
