Description: The mount is formed of two sets of opposed trefoil lobes, one set vertically opposed the other horizontally opposed, in the form of petals or leaves. An incomplete Post-Medieval (c.AD 1550 - 1650.copper-alloy double-looped buckle Description: The frame is convex at the front and flat at the rear and will have had two identical loops, although one is now mostly missing. The strap bar is slightly narrowed, triangular in cross-section and flat at the rear. The bar extends beyond the frame at each side to form small knops. A heavily worn and clipped silver shilling of Charles I (r.1625-1649), Group F/E mule minted at the Tower of London c. AD 1639-1640. Coin is heavily worn and bust is unclear although appears to have double-arched crown with the Triangle mintmark which would indicate a Sixth 'Briot' style bust. The Reverse mintmark mintmark is tun. North Vol 2, p.160, nos.2231/ 2227 or 2228. Measurements: 31mm in diameter, 0.67mm thick and 5.44g in weight.

A large crude flint probable borer with scraping edges possibly dating from the Mesolithic to the Early Bronze Age c.9000-1000 BC. Description: The borer is roughly sub-triangular in plan, kinking to the right with a concave right side. The borer is also tirangular in cross-section with a pointed dorsal face. The bulb of percussion on the ventrla side is very subtle and the conchoidal rippling is very subtle. There is long scaled abrupt retouch on the right edge which changes to semi-abrupt as it curves round to the borer point. Similar retouch is present on the left side although …
