A fragment of a copper alloy Roman bracelet. The outer face is decorated with a 'wave-crest' design consisting of alternating notches along each outer edge with incised ring and dots in the centre of section. There is a well-worn break across each end.
Cool's Group XXIII. Similar to an example from excavations in Colchester (Crummy 1983, 42, fig.44, no.1704). This style of bracelet dates to the 3rd or 4th century AD (ibid. 37).

An iron locking mechanism and chain dating to the Roman period. Padlock comprised of a plano-convex sectioned barrel, broken at one end, the other with a rectangular-sectioned piece of metal projecting from it. The heavily corroded remains of the mechanism are visible inside. The lock is surrounded by a chain, comprised of a mix of simple and figure-of-eight shaped links. At least 8 loops are visible.

A flint dagger dating from the Beaker Period of the early Bronze Age, about 2500 BC - 1500 BC, but most likely dating from 2400 BC - 2200 BC. It is an ogival, leaf-shaped blade with four notches in each of the straight sides of the butt. It is formed on light grey, semi-translucent flint. The blade has convex sides meeting at a point. The butt has straight sides and a rounded narrow butt. The notches for hafting are in opposed pairs. The dagger is a shallow pointed oval in cross-section. Late Neolithic (4000 - 2500 BC) discoidal knife: The knife sub-oval and is knapped from a mottled dark brown flint which is opaque where it is more slender in thickness. It has been bi-facially worked with invasive, scaled, low-angled flake removals. Over half of both the dorsal and ventral surfaces have been polished, particularly one lateral edge and the distal edge. The edges are rounded with the polishing. Knapping has removed the bulb of percussion.
It measures 100.30mm long, 72.55mm wide, 13.93mm thick and weighs 115.64g.
