A slightly worn and patinated Post-Medieval pewter/lead-alloy token, dating AD 1575-1600. North 1991, pg140, No. 2062.
Measurements: Diameter: 20.51mmThickness: 1.1mm, Weight: 3.21g,
Discussion: According to North (1991, 140), it is likely that rather than being used as tokens, these objects were probably used as political medalets or counters (North 1991, 140). Despite not being a coin this token type has been designated as no. 2062 by North (1991, 140).
