An incomplete copper alloy probable strap end of medieval to post-medieval date. What remains is a tongue shaped outer end of a strap end, flat on the underside but slightly convex on the upper surface. It tapers to a semi spherical knop behind which is a collar and three lobes which become successively larger, The item has an early break above the third of these. An incomplete copper alloy early post medieval one piece toggle clasp, dating to the period AD 1500-1650. This is Read Type 1 of an unclassified toggle clasp group. It has broken away from the rest of the clasp at an early date. The extant plate consists of an open work and moulded design of one central circular perforation. An incomplete early post medieval lead two part cloth seal dating to c AD 1500 - 1700. There are a number of initials moulded into both parts of the seal but there is damage across half of the original diameter and on the face of one the parts so little can be discerned. On one face can be seen B W and on the other P, possibly L B. The tab which joins the two parts is present but broken. The item is 25.30mm in length and 19.93mm in width and weighs 5.90g.

An incomplete post medieval cast copper alloy one piece dress hook. with moulded relief and open work, dating to c AD1550 - 1650. It conforms to Read Class E Type 3. It is missing the backward facing hook. The centre plate, below a sub trapezoidal loop, shows an elaborate spiralling foliate design with two pellets. See Read Hooked Clasps and Eyes 2008 p103 no 400 for a very similar clasp. It is 40.62mm in length, 19.42mm in width and weighs 3.49g.

The obverse is also mostly indiscernible, though the faint outline of the three crowns, alternately with three lis, arranged centrifugally around a central rose can be seen. Ghey pending publication) The hoard was discovered by metal-detectorists in January 2018 and excavated under controlled archaeological conditions by Richard Henry, former Wiltshire Finds Liaison Officer, PAS volunteers and a member of staff from Cotswold Archaeology who kindly offered assistance. The initial find consisted of 173 staters and fractions with no evidence of a container.
