An incomplete copper-alloy late Iron Age to Roman brooch of the Rosette Type. The head of the brooch is sub-rectangular in plan and the spring-case is open at the back; the spring is missing. The bow has a semi-circular profile and a D-shape cross section; it joins the spring case at its upper end and the sub-circular disc plate at its lower end. The disc plate runs up to touch the case housing the spring; the front of the disc has a decoration with five concentric grooves. At the back only a fragment of the lower bow remains at the centre of the disc. The pin is missing.

An incomplete copper-alloy late Iron Age to early Roman brooch of the Langton Down Type, dating to c. AD 25-60. The surviving parts are the head and the upper bow of the brooch. The head has a oval cross-section and still accommodates the iron spring, which is haevily corroded; it is incomplete and it has been affected by the corrosion of the spring. The bow has a sub-rectangular cross-section and it is humped in profile; the front face is decorated with four longitudinal grooves; where the bow meets the spring case there is a transverse raised line.

A copper-alloy late Iron Age to early Roman brooch fragment probably of the Langton Down or Rosette Type, dating to c. AD 20-60. It is sub-rectangular in plan with old breaks now worn at both ends and sides. it is the lower bow of the brooch with its front face decorated with longitudinal parallel grooves; the back face stil has remains of the perforated catch-plate.
Both Types could have this kind of low bow; for comparison see Mackreth (2011, Vol. 2, Pl. 16 for Rosette Type and Pl. 20 for Langton Down).

An incomplete copper-alloy late Iron Age to early Roman brooch of the Langton Down Type, dating to c. AD 25-60. It has a oval cross-sectioned head with a slot for the pin on its back face and breaks at both ends, now worn. The copper-alloy spring is still inside the spring case but the pin is missing. The bow is flat and rectangular in plan; it slightly tapers towards the missing foot due to old breaks now worn. The front face of the bow is decorated with longitudinal parellel raised lines creating a reeded surface. The back of the bow has traces of the perforated catch-plate.

Ghey pending publication) The hoard was discovered by metal-detectorists in January 2018 and excavated under controlled archaeological conditions by Richard Henry, former Wiltshire Finds Liaison Officer, PAS volunteers and a member of staff from Cotswold Archaeology who kindly offered assistance.
