An incomplete cast copper-alloy Anglo-Scandinavian harness fitting: a broken double-ended strap link of c. 11th-century date. It has a flat reverse and moulded front. A sub-lozengiform plate would have been central on the link before one of the arms had broken off beyond a transverse ridged junction. A warped gold and ruby rosette finger ring dating from the late 16th to early 17th century. Description: The ring is formed from a simple gold band, widening slightly before the bezel which has a long thin V-shaped cell on each shoulder. These cells would likely have contained enamel. The bezel is formed from six radially aligned circular cells, separate by a small triangular petal. There is central hole on the bezel plate with a slightly larger separate cell set into it. An inscribed gold and enamel posie/posy ring of Post-Medieval date. Description: The ring is small and has an even band, the outer band has am even vegetative floral design including palmettes. The palmettes were executed in white while some of the vine designs have small amounts of green enamel adhering possibly indicating a white and green pattern. An incomplete and warped Gold posy ring of fide type, probably of 16th century date. Description: The ring has a bezel formed in the shape of two clasped hands with the shoulders styled in the shape of ornate lace cuffed sleeves. There is evidence of a projecting heart having existed above the the sleeves. The rest of the band could be meant to represent the sleeves of the arms and are formed by three rows of closely placed square cells.
