A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy end-cap from a scale-tang knife in the form of a horse hoof (c. 1500-c. 1600).
This end-cap is oval in cross-section throughout its length and curved in side profile. The terminal (foot) is flat with a groove representing the frog and has three circular indentations either side representing nails. There are transverse grooves around the exterior of the object to delineate the lower parts of the horses hoof and fetlock. It has a slot, 10.2mm in length, 1.5mm in width and about 2.4mm in depth. A complete Medieval copper-alloy casket key formed of folded sheet (c. 1250-c. 1375).
The sheet was cut and perforated at one end to form the bow and cut at the other end to form a simple bit. The bow is rounded with a circular perforation and two small rounded protrusions at the top and small nicks at the base. It continues at an angle on the underside of the shank stopping short of the bit. The rolled shank is oval in cross-section and open at the bit end. The bit is formed of symmetrical clefts, two rectangular tabs.

Distorted, incomplete and abraded front part of a medieval rectangular buckle plate with two rivet holes at the inside edge. The outside and the fold have been lost. Decoration, within an engraved border that curves inwards to avoid the rivet holes, comprises a large saltire-shaped cell. This has lost all inlaid material and is cut by the break. In each angle an engraved saltire forms a triangle with the border. No gilding has survived. Extant length 31mm. Width 18.3mm. 13th - 14th century.

A circular floral copper alloy mount, possibly a furniture mount. The mount is decorated with 6 convex moulded sections surrounding a small central hole. At the upper end is the surfaces continue slightly beyond the break, the surface of which is uneven. It is likely that the whole piece is a repair and that the upper end, rather than broken, is a mortis. Length 43mm. Width 30 - 15.5mm. Thickness 15 - 10mm. Weight 63.53g. 14th - 17th century.
