A medieval groat of Edward IV, first reign, light coinage, Blunt and Whitton Type Vc, rose initial mark on both sides and quaterfoils by neck, mint of London, dating to 1464-70. There is an extra pellet in the CIVI quarter to the reverse and the coin has a piercing from the obverse to the reverse just below the king's chin (c.6 o'clock).
