A Post-Medieval gilded copper alloy openwork mount, probably dating to c. AD 1600-1700. The mount is circular in plan, with a cusped outer edge and openwork voids defining an equal armed cross with a narrower arm in each angle,. The arms of the cross extend slightly beyond the cusped border, whilst a small knop projects from the interstice of the cusps in each angle, in line with the narrower arms.
