Lead shot. Cast ball with an indented ring in one side, now of sub-spherical form, and retaining a grey metallic tint. The ring may suggest this to have been fired from a turn-off breech loading pistol, while the condition of the object points to a relatively recent date. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1650-1750.
