Coin is very worn therefore very little information can be deciphered. North (1994: 225-7). Overall dimensions: 8.2mm in length, 7.92mm in width and 0.3g in weight.

Fragmentary contemporary copy of an East Anglian thrymsa plated in very pale gold, a Trophy type, obverse bust left, star and annulets in front, reverse a trophy derivative. A base coin can be seen on the broken edge. Importantly, this coin is an obverse die duplicate to an example from Billockby, Norfolk (Marsden 2016, 58, no. 20); the reverse is from a disfferent die. The fact that this example is plated strongly suggests that the Billockby example might also, in fact, be a plated copy.
