A fragment of a cast copper-alloy bracelet or armlet of late Roman date, c. AD 250-410. The fragment comprises a small portion of the body of the bracelet which is rectangular in plan and slightly convex in section. The upper face of the bracelet is ornately decorated with raised panels a ring and dot motif, two vertical parallel ribs, three ring and dot motifs each and a vertical groove. The underside is plain. An incomplete Late Iron Age to early Roman (c. AD 25 to c. 60) Colchester One-Piece brooch. The brooch comprises a rectangular-section bow which is bent to form an arch. The bow tapers slightly to a point and is flattened to form a triangular catchplate. At the other end, the bow tapers and becomes lentoidal in section to form the integral spring mechanism, of which only a small portion remains. The pin is missing. A cast copper-alloy openwork buckle plate dating to the late fourth or early fifth century AD. The buckle plate is square in plan.
