Incomplete copper-alloy Roman Trumpet brooch, dating to the period c.75 - 175 AD. The brooch is missing only its spring mechanism and pin. The brooch has a flared 'trumpet' head with a D-shaped lug behind, which would have held the spring mechanism. The cavity is now filled with organic detriment. The pin head is globular with a flat top and a raised collar projects to one edge. The pin shaft is missing.

The object is made from sheet copper-alloy and is sub-cylindrical with a lozenge-shaped upper face and two convex rectangular sides. A copper-alloy rivet pierces the object at the open end and would have been used to attach the object to the wooden handle of a knife. Incomplete copper-alloy object, probably a medieval bar mount (c. 1150 - 1450 AD). The object has a fan-shaped end with a central copper-alloy rivet, a flat oval body decorated with diagonal incised lines on the upper surface, after which the object narrows and widens again, with a pointed collar at the narrow part. Unfortunately, the remainder of the object has broken off at this point, leaving a jagged edge that bends upwards. The edges of the upper face are bevelled, while the lower face is entirely flat. An incomplete Early-Medieval sleeve clasp of Hines (1993) Form B12, dating to c. 450 - 570 AD.
The sleeve clasp is simple in form: a narrow, flat rectangular copper-alloy sheet with a widened circular pierced lug curving in at both ends, and a further central circular attachment hole. A smaller circular lug extends in parallel with the lugs at both ends to the side of the central hole. The end of this lug has broken off, leaving two spurs with a gap in the middle. Almost complete medieval copper-alloy clasp fastener buckle (c. 1300 - 1500 AD). The buckle is composed of a rectangular frame with a narrowed strap bar, folded around which is a rectangular copper-alloy sheet buckle-plate with a single copper-alloy rivet at the open end. The buckle sheet is bent and the bottom sheet is missing its end, while the end of the top sheet is worn and fragmented.
