A copper-alloy stud dating to the late sixteenth or seventeenth century AD. The stud possesses a flat, triangular plate, from the underside of which there extend two tapering attachment lugs which are bent back on themselves. The upper surface of the plate is decorated with a series of stamped ring and dot motifs. For parallels, see Read (2001) p. 37, no. 322. The stud measures 27mm in length, a maximum of 11mm in width and 4mm in thickness.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy open-work hooked tag of post-medieval date (c. 1500-1650).
Description: There is an integral sub-rectangular fixing loop above the central open-work plate that terminates in the inward curved hook, the tip of which has been broken off and is missing. The reverse is plain and flat.
Measurements: Length 31.3mm, width 16.2mm, thickness 2.0mm and weight 3.1 gram.
