A slightly worn and abraded penny of Henry VII (r.1485-1509), minted between 1484-94 at Durham under Bishop John Sherwood. No mintmarks, DS by shield. North Vol 2, 1991, p.103, no.1730. Coin is quite worn and missing much of the outer flan including the legend. Measurements: 14.33mm in diameter, 0.59mm thick and 0.75g in weight

A highly worn and warped silver Roman denarius of uncertain Emperor and reverse type, likely 2nd or early 3rd century AD (Reece period 6-8). Much of the circumference has been abraded and the coin is incomplete with a large central crack. Date suggestion based on Draped, possibly bearded emperor. Measurements: 18.14mm long, 2.78mm thick and 3.14g in weight.

A heavily worn and incomplete Early Post-Medieval eye from a hooked clasp dating to c.17th century. Description: The eye is formed from a sub-pentagonal main plate, with a collared folliate terminal/attachment knop at the pointed end. at the opposite end is a rectangular eye for a blunt hook, majority of the eyeframe is broken and now missing. A copper alloy vessel fragment, likely dating between c.1550AD-1700AD. Description: The fragment is part of the rim of a cauldron or similar vessel with the rim formed by a thickened section at the top of a thin wall. There are two holes in the outer surface which have been filled with a different a quality copper-alloy. These holes maybe damage or possibly rivet holes for now lost handles. The entire fragment is heavily patinated. Measurements: 52.56mm wide, 24.06mm high, 4.8mm thick (at the rim, 2.12mm without rim and 20.58g in weight

A cast copper alloy vessel leg or foot from a tripod cauldron, skillet or similar cooking vessel. c. AD 1550-1700. Description: The leg has five raised ridges on the upper surface. The leg narrows from the paw to just before a transverse raised rib/collar. After the collar there is rough rugged break. The foot is formed by the ribs widening out and its' detail are defined by the ridges and represents an animals paw. The rear surface is concave.
