A complete Medieval silver long cross cut halfpenny of Henry III (1216-1272), minted by Tomas at Northampton. Class 3a-3c, 1248-1250 (North 1994: 226, refs: 986-988). Obverse: [hENRICVS] REX·III; Crowned bust facing without sceptre. Reverse: [TOM]/ASO/NN[ ]/[ ]; Voided long cross with three pellets in each quadrant. Diameter: 17.6mm. Weight: 0.65. DA=12:10. North, J.J. 1994. English Hammered Coinage, Volume I, Early Anglo Saxon to Henry III, c. 600-1272. Spink & Son, London.

Medieval silver cut quarter half penny of Henry III (AD 1216-1272). Voided long cross type, not further defined. North numbers: 983-999 (1994: 225-227). The obverse has a facing bust with two hair curls visible, most likely the left side of the bust present. The obverse inscription reads: [HENRI]CUS [REX III]. On the reverse two lengths of the voided long cross are visible on the cut edges and there are three pellets. Only 'O[...]E' is visible on the reverse inscription.
