An incomplete Neolithic (4000 - 2100 BC) polished flint axehead wih damage to the butt end and missing the cutting edge, probably from around half the original length of the axehead. The axehead is pointed-oval in cross-section and has been bifacially worked with polishing apparent on both faces and sides. Flakes appears to have been removed both on top of and beneath the polishing. Iron staining is apparent on the edges of flake removals. The sides of the axehead are faceted and flat, surviving to a height of c.5-6mm. The flint is opaque and light grey/ cream in colour. The axehead…
