A late Medieval gold finger-ring, dating from about AD 1400 - 1500. The ring has a rectangular sectioned loop and is inscribed on the outer surface with three words divided by foliate engraving. The writing is a French inscription in gothic or 'blackletter' script, which read "Sans de partier", translated as 'without end or leaving', and meaning 'I am yours forever', an amatory phrase. The spring consists of copper alloy that has been looped round to create a coil, that are c.9 coils fitted together. It widens slightly at one end. At both ends the coil has a worn break. The spring measures 43.3mm in length, 8.4mm in width, and weighs 8.67g.

The item is a boss from an annular brooch. The boss is lozenge-shaped in plan and soldered to a small portion of frame which has a break at each end. The frame has been twisted as decorative feature. The front of the boss has stamped decoration forming a border with a cross within. At the centre of the cross there is a small pellet. At each corner of the lozenge there is a small stamped chevron. A brooch with similar bosses and frame has been recorded from Gloucestershire (Treasure: 2006 T343) and the Isle of Wight (Treasure: 2016 T94) dating to the late 13th to early 14th centuries.

A silver annular brooch whose frame is oval in section. The frame has a small constriction which shows sign of wear. The pin is missing. The surface of the frame has a slightly shiny mid grey colour due to tarnishing. A parallel to this brooch can be found in Egan and Pritchard (2002, No. 1307) which is made from copper alloy, whereas No. 1337 is silver but has decoration. These brooches date to the 13th to 14th century. A cast copper-alloy strap-slide dating to the medieval period (AD 1200 to 1350). The object consists of a frame that is D-shaped in plan and sub-rectangular in section. One end of the frame is moulded into a flat sub-trapezoidal shape that is pointed at one end and has linear decoration on either side. Projecting from the base of the frame is a small rivet that is sub-circular in plan. The strap-slide measures 14mm in length, 11mm in width and 5mm in thickness. A lead Papal Bulla issued under Pope John XXII, AD1316-1334 and originally attached to a Papal document. A lead bulla or seal was used to authenticate a papal document or 'bull'. This example is in very good condition with a finely patinated surface. The obverse depicts the heads of St. Paul and St. Peter, with a sceptre between them. The two heads are each surrounded by a circle of pellets. The legend above the busts reads SPASPE. The reverse reads: IOhA/NNES/PPXXII Hole to attach to document is clear and apparently undamaged.

Medieval copper alloy buckle: oval frame with outside edge and deep rectangular-sectioned sides and a separate bar set in holes in the ends; broken flat-sectioned pin; rectangular sheet plate with pin slot, frame recesses and breaks across twin rivet-holes at attachment-end. Frame 23 x 27.5mm. Plate, extant length 29mm, width 20.5mm. Overall length 47mm. Post-Roman buckle frames with separate bars are uncommon. Cf. a large flimsy example from a mid 14th-century context in York (Ottaway and Rogers 2002, 2893-4, fig. 1469 no. 14099). Probably 14th or 15th century.
