A complete and bent Medieval Irish silver penny of John (1199-1216), minted by Robert at Dublin. Third ('Rex') Coinage, c. 1207-c. 1211. Spink 6228. Obverse: IOhA/NNES/REX; Crowned facing bust in triangle, hand holding sceptre, rose to right of neck. Reverse: ROBE/RDON/DIVE; Sun above crescent moon, a star in each corner, all within a triangle. Diameter: 18.1mm. Weight: 1.37g. DA=12:7.
