Miniature copper alloy axe of Late Bronze Age to Romano-British date (c. 1200 BC -AD 400) and probably of Robinson's (1988, p61) type I.
The miniature axe head is complete but is slightly distorted along its length and is of comparatively elongated form (with an overall length of 28.9mm and a weight of 4.8g). The butt or mouth is sub-square (4.9mm x 4.7mm) and has a transverse ridge separating the mouth from the top of the loop. A fragment of a copper-alloy post medieval crotal bell, probably made by William Gwynn in Aldbourne, dating to the period AD 1770-1813. The fragment measures 35.71mm in length and 39.51mm in width. It is 1.86mm thick and weighs 13.02g. The patina is relatively rough, the colour is dark green with specks of more ligher green. Probably WG maker's mark but the fragment only shows oW[o]. The fragment is decorated with incised lines.

A Medieval copper-alloy annular buckle with cast copper-alloy pin, probably dating to c. AD 1200-1450. The frame is circular in plan, and oval in cross-section, with no constriction for the pin. The frame is undecorated. The pin is cast, with a rounded point and a sub-circular cross section. At the attachment end is a cast, rearward facing hook, with the juncture between the two deliniated by a transverse collar, moulded in relief. File marks are present on the sides of the pin.

Copper alloy Augenfibel/eye brooch. Cast and spring fastened bow brooch, possible comparable to Mackreth 2011, Chapter 6, type Augen 1.2, A spring of five coils has a chord which passes round the front of the brooch to be clasped by a lug. A gently d-section curved upper bow ends at an inconspicuous stop-moulding, below which a straight and lightly keeled lower bow continues to an oval-ended foot. A plain unpierced catch plate projects from the back of the lower bow. Suggested date: Late Iron Age to Early Roman, 25 BC-75 AD.

A complete, struck / knapped quartzite pointed biface handaxe of Lower and / or Middle Palaeolithic dating (c. 800, 000 BC to c. 250,000 BC).
The biface has good evidence of working on both interior (upper) and exterior (lower) faces, making it a biface handaxe (Graf, A., 2004, 84). Approximately 75% of the total surface has been worked, with the original surface or cortex covering the remaining 25% of the surface. The interior face has been fully worked.

Copper alloy brooch. Colchester derivative brooch, probably a hinged form, Mackreth 2011, type CD H indeterminate. Probably plain tubular wings [one lost] clenched behind retained an axis bar for a hinged pin [both lost]. A D-section tapered bow clasped the wings. This may have had cut-out compartments along its lower extent, though this may equally be the result of ferocious corrosion. Suggested date: Early Roman, 70-150.

A Medieval copper alloy tournai (late) Jetton, probably dating to c. AD 1415-1497. France Ancient type, obverse depicting four fleur-de-lis within the field with stars above and below. Probably a fictitious legend, mispelling AVE MARIA GRACIA PLENA. Reverse a double stranded arcuate cross fleuretty with a central rosette and within a quadrilobe with A V [E M] on the cusps, cinquefoil in each quarter. 26.2 mm in diameter, 0.8 mm in thickness and weighs 2.05 g.

Lead spindle whorl. Cast biconicalx whorl with a central moulded aperture of diameter 10.8mm. A moulded design in high relief appears on both sides. One is dominated by straight and curved radial lines which intermittently cross each other to produce a series of trapezoid compartments. The other side bears a more pronounced right hand spiral motif on one side and compartmented cells on the other.
