A fragment of a copper alloy probable Roman strap fitting or pendant. The object consists of a flattened sub-triangular section with three short D-shape cross-sectioned strips projecting from its wider end, each terminating in a break, and a decorative knob from its narrower end. The central strip is longer than the other two and undecorated. The side strips continue the line of the triangle and their outer faces are decorated with diagonal, transverse grooves. A shield shaped, copper alloy harness pendant dating from the Medieval period, AD 1200 - 1400. Owing to the degree of corrosion the device on the shield is not now legible, though there is red enamel remaining in the chief and possibly a fleur-de-lis in the body of the shield. The suspension loop has broken away from the upper edge of the shield and is missing.. The pendant is 22.1mm long, 15.2mm wide and 1.77mm thick. It weighs 2.42gm.

The centre of the flat-sectioned plate is occupied by a now-empty circular setting; surrounding this is a ring of alternating red and blue enamel insets. On the reverse, the copper-alloy spring and pin are attached to a single lug, and the catchplate, located opposite, is squashed.

An incomplete Post-Medieval cast copper alloy mount, probably dating to c. AD 1600-1700. The mount is inverted-piriform in plan, truncated at its base and with a knop projecting from the apex. The mount features anthropomorphic decoration, depciting a bust or en face mask situated within a raised border, with a pair of opposed volutes at the apex, below the knop.
