A copper alloy cast spherical bell (also known as crotal or rumbler bells). The bell is divided into two hemispheres by a girth ridge. The lower hemisphere has the remnant of a long aperture with rounded ends. One side is broken. The upper hemisphere has two circular holes, one on each side. On the top of the upper hemisphere is a small pointed attachment loop with a drilled circular aperture. The object is circular in plan and rectangular in cross-section. There are two drilled circular holes that pierce through.
This weight is grey with patches of a darker grey patina.
These weights were and are used to weigh down the hems of curtains, and perhaps also skirts.

Silver shilling of Elizabeth I of the sixth issue dating to 1582/3-83, initial mark is a bell. Obverse has the worn bust of the queen facing left with the legend [ELIZAB] D G ANG [FR] ET [HIB REGINA]. A complete square copper alloy uniface coin weight of the early post medieval period (1454-1460) struck in Burgundy by Philip the Good (Withers 2011, 52). The lion is seated and facing left, flanked by two columns and a beneath 2? Arches. There does not appear to be traces of any legend or letters. The reverse is plain.

A fragment of a post-Medieval copper-alloy spherical animal 'crotal' bell (1600-1800).
The suspension loop at the top and one side of the body is missing due to breaks.
The upper and lower hemispheres are divided by a prominent horizontal circumferential joining rib. The plain upper hemisphere has the remains of a circular sound hole. The lower hemisphere is decorated with 'fish-scale' motifs. At the base a small incised plaque contains incised maker's initials: S*C.
This bell has a dark green patina on the outer face and the inner face is light green.

An incomplete Post-Medieval cast copper alloy mount, probably dating to c. AD 1600-1700. The mount is inverted-piriform in plan, truncated at its base and with a knop projecting from the apex. The mount features anthropomorphic decoration, depciting a bust or en face mask situated within a raised border, with a pair of opposed volutes at the apex, below the knop. A trilobed terminal at the base has been lost to an abraded and patinated break. The reverse is slightly concave, with the remains of two integral prongs.
