An incomplete copper-alloy one-piece brooch of 'Nauheim derivative' La Tene III type of the Late Iron Age or Early Roman period (c. AD 10-c. AD 100).
Some of the spring, the pin and catch-plate are missing.
The brooch has a head with an internal chord. It has an incomplete bilateral four-coil spring which extended to form the pin, now missing. The flat body is triangular in plan and tapers to a point at the bottom. At the top of the body, just below the chord, there is a small projection at either side.
