An incomplete white metal, probably pewter button, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1700)> Around 50% of the button is present, consisting only of the head. The attachment loop is missing. The head of the button is domed with a circular base. The reverse is flat. The front of the button has been decorated with a moulded double rose, with a circular border at the base. The remains of the attachment loop can be seen on the back, as two circular depressions. The button has a diameter of 10.3 mm and is 6.7 mm thick. It weighs 3.0 g.
