The handle appears to have a head, with four bars across it; there are suggestions of two projections - one on each side of the "body" below the "head"; similarly near the tail which could indicate leg stumps. The upper and lower surfaces have "C" shapes cut into it, perhaps representing scales or skin surface. There is evidence of an old break at the top or head end.
