A copper alloy buckle with an integral plate, the surface covered in an even layer of verdigris. The object consists of a rectangular plate and loop. The loop is now bent, probably as a result of damage in the soil after deposition. The plate is rectangular with rounded corners and has a central indentation on one side, flanked by two linear grooves. At the point where the loop and the plate join there is a corroded lump that may have once been the attachment point for a pin.
