A complete cast copper-alloy possibly Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) strap end. It is sub-triangular with a rounded attachment end and tapering terminal end. At the attachment end there are two lateral notches on each face. It has a deep slot to house the strap, which was secured with a surviving iron rivet through the centre of the attachment of the object. The front face of the terminal has a knop decorated with a possible animal head (dog) marked by a groove above it.
late 5th-7h century AD in date.

A copper alloy sheet metal strap end. It is constructed of two plates, a flat plate at the rear and a slightly convex plate with chamfered edges at the front. The two halves are joined by small, circular sectioned copper alloy rivets, Two towards the top edge, and one rivet and one rivet hole towards the bottom. The top two are set closer together than the bottom two. There are traces of incised decoration on the front plate, possibly a large letter A.
