An incomplete gold post-medieval finger-ring with a gemstone matrix, dating to c.16th century date. It is broken and the hoop twisted, with probably only a small section of the hoop missing; the hoop is bent outwards to the side. The circular bezel is flanked on its outside edge by a deepish groove and line of punched annulets, almost conjoined, beneath. The latter are within two lightly grooved tracks.
