An incomplete copper alloy Roman lozengiform plate brooch, possibly 3rd Century AD, double lugged with pin hinge on the base with remnant of pin still in situ. The plate is lozenge shaped most of which is showing old damage. It measures 15.89 mm x 18.23mm x 13.47mm.

A fragment of copper alloy bow brooch. The head and partial wings only of a probable Colchester derivative. The wings form an open-backed cylindrical box which may have housed a sprung pin mechanism. The bow projects from the wings and tapers to a break. It is decorated with parallel longitudinal ridges and grooves. The bow has a shallow D-shaped cross section. Date: Roman - c. AD 75 - 175 Width 16.4 mm, Thickness 8.81 mm, Weight 2.25 g.

Early Medieval (c. 500 to 600 AD) incomplete long brooch, cruciform type; the copper alloy brooch is incomplete with only a fragment of the headplate and a portion of the bow remaining. The brooch has been cast, in copper alloy. The head plate is sub-square with the left-hand edge being broken, but not too recently.
