A fragment of a Roman cast copper-alloy skeumorphic type swastika brooch dating to the second or third century AD. The fragment comprises three of the arms of a reversed swastika. Each arm is rectangular in plan and section. The upper surface of each arm is decorated with stamped ring and dot motifs in two sizes. On the underside of the fragment is a small, semi-circular pierced lug which is damaged. Iron corrosion surrounds this lug.
