Distorted copper alloy sheet plate from a medieval buckle or strap, rectangular one end with slightly recessed sides and fold to form short loop with no back-plate. The plate has two rivet-holes at the fold, a central rivet-hole (with iron corrosion) and three rivet-holes at the other end. The face has traces of an engraved interrupted rocker-arm border. Width 16.5mm. Length (unbent) 47mm. 14th century.

A complete cast copper alloy suspension mount for a Medieval pendant loop dating c. 1350-1400. The mount comprises a rectangular front plate, from which a strip of metal projects downwards before curving strongly in section (giving the whole mount the broad form of a letter 'U' in profile), bending back on itself before flaring outwards to form a broadly lozenge-shaped terminal with a large circular aperture at its midpoint. An incomplete cast copper-alloy strap fitting dating to the Medieval period, c. 1350-1400. Originally the object would have consisted of a 'U' shaped strip of copper-alloy attached at its upper edge with a separate stud, suspended from the base of which is a 'D' shaped pendant loop with an offset strap bar taking similar form to contemporary buckles, demonstrating rounded sides and a projecting knop at the outer edge of its frame.
