Post-medieval copper alloy hooked book clasp with die-stamped decoration. The sides run parallel from the gently flaring terminal near which is a large sunburst motif (cf. WMID-4275DA) with a central iron-filled rivet hole. Nearer the hook two sets of transverse lines, one incorporating a row of pellets flank a rather worn motif, perhaps a cartouche enclosing a much smaller sunburst. Length 38mm. Width 14mm, at terminal 15.8mm. 16th century.

A flint debitage blade of possible Mesolithic date (9000 BC - 4000 BC). It is formed on a piece of opaque brown flint with cortex on one side of the dorsal face. It is a tapering (towards the distal end) rectangle in plan and sub-triangular in cross section. The secondary blade was formed with soft hammer working and has some edge damage on the right side. It is 22mm long, 10mm wide and 4mm thick. 0.71g.

An incomplete copper alloy Buckle of Post-Medieval date (AD 1660-1720). The object is a trapezoidal knee buckle with concave sides. The object retains a narrowed strap bar and folded tapering plate which terminates in an old abraded break. The plate is recessed to accommodate a folded tapering wire pin. The lip and outer edge are moulded. The metal is a mid-green in colour with a predominantly smooth patina. Length: 20.95mm, Width: 12.47mm, Thickness: 2.77mm, Weight: 2.0g. Whitehead, P 99, No 624.

A complete copper alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date (AD 1550-1650). The object is a double loop oval buckle with moulded decoration and rounded ends. The object has a narrowed strap bar and retained folded sheet which tapers to a large up standing stud. Within the plate recess a folded tapering wire pin is retained. The objects has moulded decoration to either side of the strap bar. The metal is a dark green in colour with a predominantly smooth patina. An incomplete Early Medieval copper alloy strap end of Class B Type 1, dating from c.750-1100 AD. The strap end is triangular in shape tapering towards the terminal end, and would have originally had two circular attachment holes at the wider split end. Roman (1st to 4th century) button or strap mount: The copper alloy mount is circular and domed in profile. It is decorated with concentric ridges and has a central pellet. On the reverse there is a oval-sectioned bar which is integral at either terminal to the mount. The mount has a mid grey patina and a slightly abraded edge. It measures 15.48mm long, 15.12mm wide, 7.39mm thick and weighs 2.39g. The mount probably dates to the Roman period. SWYOR-F97952, NCL-7F13A4 and SF-A6A0E2 are buttons or mounts with a similar bar on the reverse.
