Medieval silver double-struck voided long-cross penny of Henry III, dating to the period 1247 - 1272 AD. Class III. Mint and moneyer unclear, possibly Carlise mint. Obverse of forward-facing bust with double-beaded beard, CVS REX III CVS I [..]. Reverse of voided long-cross with three pellets in each corner, INO / NC / [...] / NC. The coin is 18.09mm in diamter, 1.02mm in thickness and weighs 1.35g. The coin appears to have been unbent by the finder.
