A base sherd from a Medieval ceramic vessel. The fabric is soft and fine. It has frequent, small, well sorted grit and quartz inclusions. The matrix is grey in the core and on the internal surface, and orange on the outer face. There are tiny fragments of a yellow or green glaze surviving on the base. A finger mark in the wall of the vessel has pushed the edge of the base downwards in one place, making the base of the vessel uneven and unstable.The base would have been about 11cm in diameter. The sherd is 84mm long, 35mm wide and 21mm tall. 41.81g.

Two incomplete fire-cracked cobbles of unknown date; stones which have been subjected to high heat causing them to crack and break. Similar objects from the same farm have been recorded as pot boilers, but it is also possible that these stones were used to form hearths, probably for an industrial process. The stone is probably a fine grained sandstone. The two pieces do not join.

Strck with a soft hammer, it is oval in plan and D shaped in cross section, with two longitudinal removal scars on the dorsal face. A flint debitage blade of probable Mesolithic date (9000 BC - 4000 BC). It is formed on opaque patinated flint. It is sub-rectangular in plan with a sloped distal end, and trapezoid in cross-section with a double arris on the dorsal face. The proximal end is missing. The snapped end is patinated. There are two notches in the left side, one of which is retouched with short, sub-parallel, abrupt working. These suggest that the blade may have been snapped intentionally, possibly during the production of a microlith. The blade fragment is 23mm long, 12mm wide and 3mm thick. 0.76g.
